Our terrace on the other hand had hosted a pigeon party in our absence and required extensive scrubbing. But now it's pristine and we've jollied it up,with some pansies. Alas, as expected, the marguerites did not make it through the scorching heat.
But Perovskia, despite appearances, has survived. He is lightly pruned and watered and is showing signs of life.
