Au revoir Roscoff

Sad day but lovely sunrise and calm sea. Here is Armorique slipping in. (Mid horizon)

We just had a short trip this morning up the coast to an island only accessible across the sand causeway. Just for 2 hours either side of low tide. Luckily today that was 10 am.

Really nice. It's private but they let you walk round the edge! Loads of birds - stonechat, wheatear, wrens, crows, chiffchaff, etc etc.

Banks of white campion, corridors of coconut smelling gorse. And surfers! Just a couple, negotiating the rocky shore.

We probably spent just over an hour there then pottered along the sand for a bit.

So finally back to Roscoff via the artichoke fields.

And a last drink in Ty Pierre where I notice they have classy white wine on the pump!

So here we be on board waiting to leave. It's been a really great week.
