Belated

yesterday we did a brief tour round the Dentelles via Suzette to return and exchange books in the bibliocabine. Anne snapped this! I decided I would keep the Petite fille au tambour. It’s such a brilliant book and I see the BBC are filming it for release in the autumn. 👏

Still a bit chill but dry. We had a warming coffee in Malaucène, then scratch lunch upstairs at home before driving to the mayhem of Avignon TGV. The trains are on strike as of today so everyone was crowding onto the final services. And on a Bank Holiday too! Dogs, children, man manically playing the free piano in the concourse!

Today it’s much warmer and we went for lunch at Roaix. Sat out in the sun. It was lovely - a great improvement on Sunday! Busy but David is a pro and he coped with unbooked parties like a trooper! Then we came home to find this. Yellow parking bays?? We think the astroturf and cage might be a maternelle because Adrian spotted a group of tinies cavorting there this morning. In which case maybe these spaces are for mummies and daddies to drop off and pick up. Hmm.
