Not much to report. We collected Anne from Avignon on Thursday evening . Before which we went to Alinéa for curtain and IKEA for curtain pole. The latter place heaving with families and not a pleasant experience! Then onto Barbentane for a coffee to wait out the hour we had in hand.
Return from Avignon horrendous. The perfect storm of rush hour, rain, dark, evening before national holiday. But at least we avoided any Trick or Treaters.🎃
Friday Anne and I took a couple of turns round the village and supped coffee at the bar, watching the market and folk. Then in the evening we were summoned to N Ireland for one of their fabulous friendly evenings - Dear Edeltraut also there.
We are promised storms but so far nothing. Maybe this afternoon?
To market, to market this morning. Adrian staying home to watch England crash and burn. On the way home I popped into Cairanne for a six pack of their expensive 90th birthday wine. And came away with another Free six bottles of their Grande Reserve! It pays to be loyal.
