Well, what did we do today? Not a lot. It was a lovely day, warm and comfy. So up to the terrace, sat on the wall in the sun and watched the world. Inbetween, a bit of housework took place...two loads of washing and swabbing down of terrace to get rid of the Sahara. These acid coloured creatures are from yesterday's walk.
The French Red Arrows (la Patrouille) were showing off this morning doing barrel rolls and blue smoke then they disappeared and have not returned. Expect it's practice for one of the many May parades. The sky has been most picturesque too. Clear and then gradually whispy white clouds and now cottonwool balls. We fear the rain is coming from the south.
And just now I almost trod on this beautiful beetle! He must have been blown in on a breeze and had landed on his back. There he was all six legs flailing - most indignified! Anyway, he clambered onto my twisted vine stick and recovered his composure before buzzing off to pastures new.
