After that we got blown along to Isle-sur-la-Sorgue where there is a branch of Jouvaud, the fancy pâtisserie from Carpentras. They do the best proper thick Spanish-style hot chocolate. Of course the place was full as it was lunchtime so we braved the outside courtyard, but it as worth it. A mere €9.90 for two huge mugs of steaming nectar and a superb sacristain. Cheap lunch.
ISLS is antiques and quirkyness mecca. Lots of wonderful things to see. Despite the wind we had a bit of a stroll along the river and into the centre. Down an alleyay I spotted this graffitti clad cinema building. Looked like a bomb site but us probably trendy.
And so many interesting shops with tasteful displays, and cafés and restaurants. I love it - out of season of course! Right by where we were parked there were some roofers retiling an old building and actually walking along the ridge tiles with no harness or anything. Crazy.
