It was ferociously windy late last night and eventually crash bang storm in the early hours! Temperature was over 20 at 2am. but the morning dawned cooler and grey. We spent it reading until after lunch when the sun came out.
Amazing low cotton wool clouds hardly moving above the plain.
We took a trip to Intermarché, Tulette for nibbles for Thursday then came back via Cairanne for wine and a walk in the Plan de Dieu.
There’s a lane through the vines between two roads. It divides the Rasteau vines from the Cairanne. Nothing specIal but it feels open and airy and has the hills on one side with vast flat expanse the other way.
This cloud just looked like a gigantic pair of lips!
We felt like pizza tonight. Well to be honest we had nothing else in! Calamity. Hussein is closed until 4 November. Rapid thinking sent us to the take away at Vacqueyras where they do excellent ones. Phew!
