Another sunny one. First off, Gravillas for bidon and free bottle of Sablet rouge. We had accumulated points, and points mean...Prizes! But lady said make the most of the fine weather because it’s changing at the weekend. So we did.
En route to our walk we had to stop at La Poterie just in case they had anything tempting. Alas no...though these blue bunnies and chicks were sort of sweet in a creepy way.
Up to Crestet and a walk in the woods with views. It was so quiet. Just a few birds in the vines, one or two cars parked discretely, a single belled hound looking lost.

A minion was mowing the sward up at La Verrière on his ride-on tractor. Everything smelled of resin and fresh cut timber. There has been quite a bit of under storey clearance.
We came back for Nems but just as I put the oven on the phone rang. Oh it’ll be junk said Adrian. But instinct told me not and just as well because it was Satellite Repair Man saying he was running early and would be with us in 10! He was too. Not only that, he tuned in the radio channels as well, so once more we can listen to The Archers🤗
