Thursday we all foregathered for the final al fresco pizza at the bar and looked forward to the Rugby fest.
On Friday we had a glorious walk above Durban near St Hilaire and decided that this is the perfect spot!
Saturday we went to Ste Cécile to find that Nicole the Yoghurt was on holiday! Consternation- will she be back next week, our final visit. We washed the car.
Clouds now gather and there is a strong north wind despite the sun. So today we did housework then had a shortish walk round Rasteau village rather than in the exposed vines. Pink umbrellas flew Poppins - like above the square - breast cancer week.
Pomegranates burst open in their bushes in every garden.
At the bar we retreated to the shelter of the tables under the awning. Ribena and licorice!
Summer is over.
